asian world cup 2010 qualifying
The Asian qualifying zone (AFC) for the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ Finals sees the fianl ten teams divided into two groups.
The top two teams each of the final two groups automatically qualify for the FIFA World Cup™ Finals.
The two third-place teams will face off in a two-game playoff (home and away).
The winner of the playoff then meets the winner of the Oceania qualifying zone (OFC) in a two-game playoff (home and away) with the winner earning a berth at the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ Finals.
